WorldSkills showcases the value of skills and raises the recognition of skilled professionals worldwide.

Skills are the foundation of modern life. Everything, from the houses we live into the societies we create, is the result of skills. They are the driving force behind successful careers and companies, thriving industries, and economies. Skills keep the world working.

Since 2006 we have work with employers, colleges and training organisations to identify and support RACHP students demonstrate their skills and knowledge in a competitive environment aiming to become UK skill champion each year.

Taking part in skill competitions builds confidence, develops emotional maturity, professional behaviour and a will to succeed, and can lead to representing Worldskills Team UK at the Worldskills European & International competitions where over 30 young apprentices from colleges and training providers around the world come together to showcase their individual skills and knowledge in a competitive environment that truly discovers the best young RACHP vocational technician in the world.
